Jeffrey Pic- President

Jeffrey A. Pic joined the Board of Directors in February 2011 and was seated as President in October of 2015, after serving as vice president from October of 2013 to October 2015. He works with Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor.  Jeffrey served 20 years in United States Air Force before retiring in February of 2004 at the rank of Master Sergeant.  He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from National-Louis University in 2002.   He is affiliated with Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center as a Board Member and The Rotary Club of Panama City Beach. He is the proud father of two children.  Jeffrey and his family attend Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Cathy Harcus- Vice President

Cathy Harcus was seated as Vice President of the Board of Directors in October of 2015, after serving as a director of the board since April 2007. She works with Life Management Center as a Program Director for Healthy Families. Ms. Harcus has served as both a foster and adoptive parent for 10+ years and was awarded Foster Parent of the Year in 2007.   Her  affiliations include the Kiwanis Club, Heart Gallery of Northwest Florida as a board member, Healthy Start Coalition of Bay, Franklin, and Gulf Counties as a board member and FIMR Review Committee Member. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Florida State University and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University.

Pauline Patrick- Treasurer

Pauline Patrick was seated as Treasurer of our Board in March of 2006. She is a Professor at Thomas University in the Division of Counseling. Pauline has previously worked with the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services as an Associate Director and Father Flanagan's Boys Town as a Director. She is seated on Florida Pregnancy Care Network's Board of Directors and serves as a Peer Reviewer with the Council on Accreditation.

Kathy Milton- Secretary

Kathy Milton joined the Board of Directors in April 2007 and seated as Secretary in December 2009 . She is the Owner/Broker for  Chipola Realty with offices in Marianna and Chipley. She is currently a member of Altrusa International of Marianna, Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Board of Chipola Area Board of Realtors.   Kathy attended Chipola College and is a graduate of University of Florida, School of Banking.  She is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marianna, Fl.  Married to Albert Milton.

Linda Nelson- Immediate Past President

Linda Nelson joined the Board of Directors in December 2009 and was seated as the president of the board in October 2013. Linda is founding partner and CEO of EarthSTEPS, LLC; a local energy and environmental consulting company. She serves as President of Tallahassee Sunrise Rotary, President of Big Bend Crime Stoppers, Immediate Past President of Big Bend Office of Public Guardian, the Executive Board of the Early Learning Coalition, and the Leon District Schools Audit Committee. She is affiliated with  Leadership Tallahassee, Greater Tallahassee Chamber, among other civic and business organizations.

Elizabeth Holifield, Ph. D.- Director

Liz Holifield, Ph. D. was seated as a director for our Board of Directors in April of 2007. She works with Florida A & M University as a professor and Florida State University WFSU Radio Producer and Executive Director for 411- TEEN, INC. She is Chair Emeritus for Disability Rights Florida and a board member for the Florida Alliance for Assistive Services & Technology (FAAST) Board of Directors. She is on the Board of Directors for the League of Women Voters. She attended both Harvard University and Wayne State University for Ph.Ds.

Reggie Johns- Director

Reggie Johns joined the Board of Directors in December 2007 and served as Board President December 2009-October 2013. He is the owner of 1st Florida Real Estate Brokerage Panama City branch, Book that Shuttle and Book that Condo, a property management company in Panama City. Mr. Johns is a Real Estate Sales/Broker,  Senior Military Officer Logistical Ops Director in the United States Air Force Reserve and was previously a US Army Infantry Officer. Mr. Johns received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Troy University and is the loving father of two children.

Bambi Smith- Director

Bambi Smith has been seated as a board member since October 2012. She and her husband own a chain of Krispy Kreme doughnut companies. Mrs. Smith previously worked with the Alabama Department of Education as a Federal Programs Administrator, a Curriculum Specialist and Elementary Teacher with Autauga County Schools. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama and a Masters in Elementary Education from Troy State University. She has pursued a Doctorate from Auburn University in Administration, Supervision and Curriculum.

Gerald Waters- Director

Gerald L. Waters, Sr. was seated as a board member June 2013. He is a foster parent and serves as  President of the Santa Rosa Foster/Adoptive Parent Association . He is affiliated with the Department of Juvenile Justice Santa Rosa County, NW Florida Prevention Coalition of Santa Rosa County, Holley Navarre Middle and Navarre High School, and the National Alliance of Medical Illness (NAMI). He managed the Troop Medical Clinic for the United States Army for more than 20 years. Mr. Waters worked as Senior Budget Analyst for Mission Planning at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He attended Common Campus Technology School and received a Florida Nursing Certificate.

Scott Clemons- Director

Scott Clemons was seated a board member in June of 2013. He graduated with a BA in Political Science (International Relations) and received a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University. He was elected to the Florida House of Representatives and re-elected until retirement in 1998. Mr. Clemmons practiced Law at Bryant, Higby & Williams, and later joined the Clemons Company and focuses on health insurance and structured settlements. Mr. Clemons was also the Mayor of the City of Panama City from 2007-2011. He served as Chairman of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Early Education & Care Inc., Appointed to Florida Commissions on Ethics 1998-2000, Chairman of the Florida Children’s Campaign, Chairman of the Bay County School Readiness Coalition, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bay Medical Center, and he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the United Way.

Brian Tesnar, Ph. D., PA - Director

Brian Tesnar was seated as a board member in August 2013. He works with Hospital Physician Partners and Southland Emergency Medicine Consultants as a Trauma Surgery & Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant. He is affiliated with the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and SEMPA, Society of Emergency Medicine PA’s. He is a registered firefighter/paramedic and is board certified in both Medicine & Surgery as a PA. He has more than 20 years of experience with the US Marine Corp, Navy & Air Force as a Special Operations Medical Officer & SARC Paramedic. He has served recently overseas on assignments throughout the Middle East as a Presidential Medical Officer, a Special Agent in Charge within the DoS Diplomatic Security Service and continues to consult with medical assets in the operational theater today. He has more than 20 year’s of experience managing and creating medical departments for US Military as well as US Dept. of State Special Operations Bureau.

Mark Stavros, M.D.- Director

Mark Stavros was seated as a board member in June of 2014. Dr. Stavros works with Florida State University College of Medicine. He has previously worked in Emergency Medicine at Santa Rosa Medical Center, West Florida Regional Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, Baptist Hospital/Gulf Breeze Hospital and Eglin AFB Regional Hospital. He currently works with Lifeguard Air Ambulance, Pensacola State College, Access Recovery Solutions and Excalibur Telemedical Services.  Dr. Stavros has traveled around the world providing disaster relief and medical assistance to those in need since 1986. He has been published in two medical journals and has medical licenses in 4 states. Dr. Stavros was educated at Azusa Pacific University, University of Southern California, and Creighton University. He served in the United States Air Force for over a decade and was promoted Major. Dr. Stavros is a Fellow on the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 1997 and a diplomat on the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Denise Myers- Director

Denise Myers was seated as a board member in June of 2014. She works with D.Myers Gallery & Freedom Development as the owner. Ms. Myers has been previously employed at SpecPro, SRA International, Galaxy Scientific Corporation, and Gulf Coast Gymnastics. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Baylor University. She also attended Kilgore College and participated as a Kilgore Rangerette. She received professional training from The George Washington University: School of Business, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and Galaxy Scientific Corporation. Ms. Myers is a supporter of dance and gymnastics programs. She is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Women, Holley by the Sea: Chairman of the Social Committee, USA Gymnastics Association, Outstanding Young Women of America, Kingston’s National Registry Who’s Who, Baylor University Alumni Association, and Kilgore College Rangerettes Forever.

Catherine Wynne- Director

Catherine Wynne was seated as a member of the Board June 2014. Mrs. Wynne has worked with the Ohio Department of Welfare, South Point, Ohio, Florida Elder Care, Florida State Chair for Long Term Care, and Holmes County Florida Sheriff’s Office. She was educated at Ohio State, Troy University, Ohio University and University of Kentucky. Mrs. Wynne is affiliated with Holmes County Teen Court Board, Holmes County Healthy Homes Task Force, Circuit 14 Community Alliance for Families, FCADV Rural Training Institute Planning Committee, CAPP for Teens, 14th Juvenile Justice Circuit Advisory Board and she chairs for CASE Coalition.

Ronald Pickett- Director

Ronald Pickett was seated as a member of the Board in April 2015. Mr. Pickett works with Cape San Blas Realty in Port Saint Joe, Florida.  He and his wife have two children that were adopted from the Florida Department of Children and Families.
